NextKick allows you to process one-time payments for both existing students and individuals who are not registered in your school.

Written by Zina Kim

1. One-Time Payment for Existing Students

If the student is already registered in your NextKick account, you can process a payment directly from their profile.

Step 1: Open the Student’s Profile

  1. Go to Accounts → Profiles from the left sidebar.

  2. Search for and select the student you want to charge.

  3. Navigate to the Invoices tab on the student’s profile.

Step 2: Choose a Payment Option

You will see two blue buttons: Add Payment and Create Invoice.

Option A: Add Payment (Immediate Payment)

If you want to charge the student immediately:

  1. Click Add Payment.

  2. Enter the payment amount and required details.

  3. Process the payment using the student’s saved card.

This option is ideal for collecting a one-time payment immediately.

Option B: Create Invoice (Schedule a Payment)

If you want to create an invoice with a future due date:

  1. Click Create Invoice.

  2. Enter the payment amount and invoice details.

  3. Set the desired future Due Date.

  4. Create the invoice.

This option allows you to issue an invoice for a payment that is due at a later date.

2. One-Time Payment for Non-Registered Individuals

If you need to collect a payment from someone who is not registered in your NextKick account, you can create a public payment link.

Step 1: Create a Public Invoice

  1. Go to Payments → Invoices from the left sidebar.

  2. Click the blue Create Invoice button.

  3. Select Public Invoice (Payment Link).

Step 2: Set Up the Payment

  1. Enter the amount you want to charge.

  2. Fill in the required payment details.

  3. Create the public invoice.

Step 3: Share the Payment Link

  1. Copy the generated payment link.

  2. Share the link with the person who needs to make the payment.

  3. The recipient can open the link and complete the payment.

This option is ideal for collecting one-time payments from individuals who do not have an existing student profile in NextKick.
