How to Access Kiosk Mode on a Tablet

When using NextKick on a tablet, the Kiosk icon may not always be visible. Even if the icon is missing, you can still access Kiosk Mode through the left sidebar.

1. How to Access Kiosk Mode on a Tablet

If you cannot find the Kiosk icon at the top of your screen, follow these steps:

  1. Open the left sidebar.

  2. Find and select Kiosk.

  3. You will be directed to the Kiosk screen.

2. How to Access Student Self Check-In Directly

If your main purpose is to allow students to check in for class, you can access the Self Check-In screen directly without opening the main Kiosk screen.

Follow these steps:

  1. Open the left sidebar.

  2. Navigate to Attendance.

  3. Click Self Check-In.

  4. You will be taken directly to the student check-in screen.

Students can then check themselves in for class using this screen.

Important Reminder

If the Kiosk icon is not visible at the top of your tablet screen, you can still access its features through the left sidebar.

  • Kiosk: Opens the main Kiosk screen.

  • Attendance → Self Check-In: Opens the student check-in screen directly.

If you only need the Kiosk for student attendance, Attendance → Self Check-In is the quickest way to access the check-in screen on your tablet.
