Use it to promote events on social media, in newsletters, or with a printed QR code at your front desk, instead of sharing each event separately.
Before you start: An event only appears on the link if it has a sign-up form turned on. The easiest way to get one is to create it together with the event (step 1 below).
Step 1: Create a sign-up form with your event
Go to Events → Events Management and create a new event, or open an existing one to edit it.
Scroll to Registration Settings and turn on Create a sign-up form for this event.
Click Create (or Update). The sign-up form is created and turned on as soon as the event saves, using the same default payment settings as a form you'd build yourself.
When asked, choose whether to open the new form to review it.
After that, the event's edit and details screens show the linked form, an On or Off label, and a View button that opens the form in a new tab. Each event gets only one form, so turning the option on again won't create a duplicate.
If the form can't be created: You'll see a message right after saving. Your event is still saved. Click Confirm to go to the form builder with the event already selected, and finish the form there. If your school hasn't connected online payments, NextKick tells you the form can't be created automatically. You can still build a Cash-only form from Forms.
Step 2: Share the event link or QR code
Go to Events → Events Management.
Click Share Event Link above the event list. On a phone, tap ⋮ first.
In the window that opens:
Click Copy Link to copy the link, or the open icon to preview the page.
Click Download to save the QR code as an image for flyers or your front desk.
The link always shows your current events, so you only need to share it once. It also stays the same over time, so links you've already posted keep working.
What families see
The link opens an Upcoming Events page with your events for the next 6 months, shown as cards. Each card shows the date, event name, and dates. If the event has a photo it's shown on the card, otherwise your school logo. Events that run over several days appear as one card with a start and end date.
Tapping a card opens that event's sign-up form, where families create their profile, register, and pay in one step. Members who are logged in see the same list.
Which events appear
Event | On the link? |
Visible to students, with a sign-up form turned on | Yes |
No sign-up form, or the form is turned off | No |
Hidden from students | No |
Registration closed or event full | No |
Limited to certain ranks or groups | Yes, marked Not Eligible. Tapping it explains they don't meet the requirements. |
Logged-in students also see closed and full events, marked with the reason, such as Fully Booked or Not Eligible.
Show events on your kiosk
Kiosk home has a Join an Event card that lists the same events. Visitors at your school tap an event, and its sign-up form opens.
The kiosk shows only events that are open for sign-up right now. Events limited to certain ranks or groups, and closed or full events, are left out.
If no events are open, the card hides itself and comes back when one opens.
To reorder, rename, or turn off the card, go to Settings › System & Security › System › Kiosk menu.

Do families need the student app? No. The link works in any web browser, and families can sign up without an account.
