Can I Require Class Registration Before Check-In?

Yes! NextKick allows you to require students to select a class before checking in by disabling the Check-In Without a Class setting.

When this setting is disabled, students must select a class to complete their check-in.

How to Require Class Registration Before Check-In

Follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your NextKick Admin account.

  2. Navigate to Settings → Schedule from the left sidebar.

  3. Locate the Check-In Without a Class setting.

  4. Turn OFF this setting.

  5. Save your changes if prompted.

Once disabled, students will only be able to check in by selecting a class.

What Happens When This Setting Is Disabled?

When Check-In Without a Class is turned OFF:

  • Students must select a class to check in.

  • Students cannot check in without selecting a class.

  • This restriction applies to check-ins through the Kiosk, Student App, and QR Attendance.

What Happens When This Setting Is Enabled?

When Check-In Without a Class is turned ON:

  • Students can check in even when there is no class available to select.

  • Students can check in without selecting a specific class.

  • This applies to the Kiosk, Student App, and QR Attendance.
