Your membership agreement is the Terms and Conditions on each membership plan. This guide shows how to update it, and how to have current members sign the new version.
Before you start
You need access to Settings → Membership Plans. See Staff Permissions: What Each Access Control Setting Covers.
For how agreements are signed, see How to Send a Membership Agreement for Signature in NextKick.
Step 1: Update the agreement on the plan
Go to Settings → Membership Plans and open the plan.
Click Edit.
Under Terms and Conditions, update the text in Agreement.
Click Save.
The new agreement applies to memberships added from now on. Agreements that members already signed don't change, and they can't be edited.
Step 2: Have current members sign the new version
A signed agreement can't be sent for signature again. To collect a new signature, replace the member's membership. You can replace it with the same plan after updating its agreement.
Open the student's profile and click the Membership tab.
If auto-renewal is on, turn it off in Actions → Auto-renewal settings. Replace doesn't work while it's on.
Click Add Membership and choose Replace.
Under Current membership, select their membership. Under Membership Name, choose the plan with the new agreement.
Check the Start Date and End Date, then click Continue.
Check the billing so it matches what the family pays now. The signup fee is $0 for replacements by default. Set the Down Payment to $0 and the first auto payment date to their next billing date, so they aren't charged twice.
Under Sign Agreement Via, choose Member App & Email. Click View/Edit Agreement to check it's the new version.
Click Confirm & Create.
The family gets the agreement by email and in the student app, and signs it on their phone. The old membership ends on the new membership's start date. See How to Add, Renew, or Replace a Membership.
See who has signed
On a student's Membership tab, each membership shows its Membership agreement. Click Completed Agreement to view what they signed.
To list everyone who still needs to sign, go to Accounts → Profiles, click More Filter, check Unsigned agreements and click Apply.
Memberships added when NextKick moved your data
Memberships that NextKick staff added when moving your students in may show as signed by NextKick staff. To get the family's own signature, replace the membership as in Step 2.
