Written by Ben Ryoo

Every morning, NextKick sends your staff a "Today's Schedule" notification. It shows how many classes and events you have that day and when the first one starts, for example "15 classes · 0 events · Starting at 5:00 AM".

Before you start

  • This notification goes to staff in the NextKick Admin app, not the student app. Students and parents don't get it.

  • Your class schedule should be set up. See How to Set Up Your Class Schedule.

Step 1: Get the notification on your phone

  1. Download the NextKick Admin app from nextkick.ai/admin-app-download.

  2. Log in with your NextKick admin email and password.

  3. Allow notifications when your phone asks. If the Admin app shows Notification Settings, turn on Allow setting up push notifications.

Step 2: Check it in the admin

The notification also shows under the bell in the top bar of the admin, in the Events & Schedule category. The bell keeps the last 30 days.

Tip: The notification follows your class schedule. Keep your schedule up to date so the counts stay accurate.
