NextKick lets your school know when something needs your attention, such as a failed payment, a new trial sign-up or a class that's almost full. This guide lists the emails and notifications your school gets, who receives them, and what to check if they stop.
Before you start
Emails go to your school's owner email, the email of the main admin account. Make sure someone checks that inbox every day.
Push notifications go to every staff member who is signed in to the NextKick Admin app with notifications turned on. Install the Admin app, sign in, and allow notifications.
Every push notification also shows under the bell in the top bar of the admin, so you can catch up on a computer.

Get a daily report by email
The daily report is a nightly email with a summary of the day's transactions and attendance. It's off until you turn it on.
Go to Settings → Communication.
Under General, turn on Daily report.
In Daily report email, enter the address that should get it, such as your front desk inbox.
Click Save.
The report arrives at about 10 PM your school's time.
Not getting your school's alerts?
Check the inbox of your school's owner email, including its spam folder.
For push notifications, check that you're signed in to the NextKick Admin app and that its notifications are allowed in your phone's settings. If the Admin app shows Notification Settings, turn on Allow setting up push notifications.
Open the bell in the admin. It keeps the last 30 days of notifications.
If a family isn't getting messages, see Why Isn't a Family Getting Emails or Notifications?
FAQ
Can these emails go to another address, such as my front desk?
Only the daily report has its own email setting. Other alerts go to your school's owner email.
Do failed bank (ACH) payments end a membership?
No. Failed ACH payments aren't retried, and the membership stays active. You still get an email each time one fails, so charge it again yourself. See How Autopay Works & What Happens When a Payment Fails.
Why didn't NextKick tell me about a chargeback?
Chargeback notices come from your payment processor, Bluu or Stripe, not NextKick. Look for an email from them. If you use Stripe, respond in your Stripe Dashboard. If you use Bluu, contact NextKick support within 5 business days.
Do families get these alerts?
No. These alerts are for your school. Families get their own messages, such as a failed-payment notice with a link to update their card.
