Running Multiple School Locations in NextKick

Each location is its own school in NextKick. Sign in with Multi-School Admin Login, and set up plans, staff permissions and payments at each location.

Written by Ben Ryoo

If your school has more than one location, each location is set up as its own school in NextKick. This guide explains how locations work, how to sign in to them, and what to set up at each one.

Before you start

How locations work

  • Each location is its own school in NextKick, with its own members, setup, staff permissions and payments.

  • A student belongs to one location. Their email can be used at that location only, so the same email can't be added at a second location.

  • Setup isn't shared between locations. You create membership plans, rank systems, programs and classes, forms, events and coupons at each location.

Step 1: Sign in to your locations

If you own more than one location:

  1. Go to school.nextkick.ai.

  2. On the School Admin Login page, click Multi-School Admin Login →.

  3. Sign in.

Staff sign in on the regular School Admin Login page. See How to Log In to NextKick and Reset a Password.

Step 2: Set up each location

Create these at each location. You can't copy an event or a form to another location yourself.

Tip: Create membership plans before forms. A form can only offer plans that already exist at that location.

Opening a new location? Our team may be able to copy membership plans, rank systems and forms from one of your locations. Email [email protected] to ask. If we copy forms for you:

  • A copied form keeps the original form's Custom URL. Change it before you share the form.

  • A form is skipped if the new location doesn't have a matching membership plan.

Step 3: Set staff permissions at each location

Staff permissions are set separately at each location. For example, a staff member can be allowed to create and edit at one location but not at another.

  1. At the location, go to Staff → Staff Members.

  2. Click the staff member's name and open the Access Control tab.

  3. Set each item, then click Save.

Step 4: Set up payments at each location

Each location applies for payment processing on its own, with Bluu or Stripe. This includes bank account (ACH) payments. See How do I connect a payment provider?

Step 5: Bring in your members

Moving from another system? Email one student file for each location to [email protected], and our team will import them. An email can be used at one location only, so list each student in one location's file. See How to Move Your Existing Students into NextKick.

FAQ

Can I move a student to another location?

Not directly. Change their email at the old location, then add them at the new one. Their memberships and invoices stay at the old location. See Can I Transfer a Student Between School Locations?

Can I copy an event or a form to another location?

Not yourself. Create it again at the other location. When you open a new location, our team may be able to copy your forms for you (see Step 2).

Do my locations share a payment account?

No. Each location sets up card and bank (ACH) payments on its own.

Do staff permissions carry over between locations?

No. Set them at each location.
