Welcome to NextKick. This checklist walks you through setting up your school. The steps are in a suggested order, but you don't have to follow it exactly. Each step links to a guide with the details.
Step 1: Add your school info
Go to Settings → School Setup → School info. Add your logo, school name, owner name, email, phone, address and social media links. Under School Image, add the images families see in the student app.
Step 2: Connect payments
Card payments: complete the payment provider application. See How do I connect a payment provider?
Bank account (ACH) payments: optional. See Accept Bank Account (ACH) Payments.
Fees: decide whether to add convenience fees or late fees. See Convenience Fees and Late Fees.
Step 3: Set up your rank systems
Go to Settings → School Setup → Rank system and add your belts and stripes. See How do I set up a Rank System?
On the same page, you can also set up Revenue type and Member fields. See Revenue Types.
Step 4: Create your membership plans
Go to Settings → Membership Plans and create a plan for each program and term you offer, including trial plans. See How to Create a Membership Plan.
Step 5: Set up your classes
Go to Schedule → Class Management and add your classes and weekly schedule. See How to Set Up Your Class Schedule.
Step 6: Add your staff
Add instructors and front desk staff, and choose what each person can see. See How to Add Staff and Set Their Permissions.
Step 7: Bring in your members
Moving from another system? Email your student list to [email protected] and we'll import it for you. See Required Information for Student Data Migration.
Adding a few members? Add them one by one. See How to Add a New Member.
Then add each member's membership. See How to Add, Renew, or Replace a Membership.
Step 8: Set up check-in
Choose how students check in, and set up your front desk kiosk. See:
Step 9: Create sign-up forms
Let new families sign up and pay online for a trial or a membership. See How to Create a Sign-up Form.
Step 10: Set up messaging
Verify your sender email so messages come from your school. See How to Verify Your School's Sender Email Address.

Step 11: Invite families to the student app
Customize the app, then send your members an invitation. See:
