You can customize each product with images, pricing, inventory, and options such as size or color. You can also enter what each product costs you to track your profit.
Step 1: Add a New Product
From the left-hand menu, go to:
eStore → Products → Add Product
This will open the Add Product page.
Step 2: Enter the Basic Information
Under Basic Information, enter the following:
Product Name
Enter the name of the item you are selling.
Examples:
Taekwondo Uniform
Sparring Gear
School T-Shirt
Belt
Category
Choose one of your school's categories. Every product needs a category.
Schools that already used the eStore start with these categories:
Uniform
Equipment
Other
To add, rename or reorder categories, click Manage categories above the field, or Manage Categories on the products list. See step 10 below.
Description
Describe the item, for example the material, sizing notes, or what's included.
Step 3: Upload Product Images
Under Product Images, you can upload photos of the item.
Main Image
Upload the primary image that best represents the product.
Supported file types include PNG, JPG, and GIF, with a maximum file size of 10 MB.
Sub Images
You can also upload up to 5 additional images.
Additional images can be useful for showing:
Different angles of the product
Front and back views
Available colors
Product details
What is included with the item
Uploading images is optional. However, NextKick strongly recommends uploading clear and accurate product photos, as they make it easier for students and parents to understand what they are purchasing.
Step 4: Set the Price, Cost and Tax
Under Pricing & Inventory, enter the product’s basic pricing information.
Price
Enter the base selling price of the product.
Cost
Enter what you pay for the item. It's used only to calculate profit, and students never see it. You can leave it blank if you don't track profit.
Tax (%)
Enter the applicable tax percentage if tax should be charged on the item.
Total Inventory
The total inventory is determined based on the inventory configured for the product options.
Step 5: Add Product Options
The Product Options section allows you to create different variations of the same product.
For example, if you are selling a uniform, you may want students to select a size. If you are selling a T-shirt, you may want them to choose both a size and color.
Option Name
Enter the type of option you want to offer.
Examples:
Size
Color
Style
Detail Name
Enter the available choices under that option.
For example:
Option Name: Size
Detail Names:
Small
Medium
Large
X-Large
Or:
Option Name: Color
Detail Names:
White
Black
Blue
Click Add a detail item to add additional choices under the same option.
If the product requires another type of selection, click Add an option to create an additional option.
Step 6: Set Inventory for Each Option
For each product option, you can specify the available Inventory.
For example:
Small – 10 available
Medium – 15 available
Large – 8 available
If you do not want to limit the quantity available for a particular option, select Unlimited.
This allows you to manage inventory separately for different product variations.
Step 7: Set Different Prices for Product Options
If all options have the same price, you can use the product’s base price.
If certain options need different prices, enable:
Set a different price for each option
This is useful when the price varies depending on the selected size, style, or other product option.
For example, a standard uniform and a premium uniform option may have different prices.
To set a different cost for each option, turn on Set a different cost for each option and enter the Cost for each option. Leave an option blank to use the base cost. You need to enter a base cost first.
Step 8: Hide a Product from the User App
Enable Hide from User App if you do not want the product to appear in the student-facing app.
This can be useful when:
You are still preparing the product.
The product is temporarily unavailable.
The product should only be managed internally.
You want to create the product now and make it available to students later.
You can update this setting when you are ready to display the product.
Step 9: Create the Product
Once you have entered all required information and reviewed the product settings, click Create.
The product will then be added to your eStore.
Before making a product available to students, we recommend reviewing the product name, images, price, tax, options, and inventory to make sure all information is accurate.
Tip: When selling products with multiple sizes or colors, use Product Options instead of creating a separate product for every variation. This keeps your eStore organized and makes it easier for students and parents to select the correct item.
Step 10: Manage Your Categories
Categories group your products. Families see them as filters in the student app, in the same order as your list.
Go to eStore → Products and click Manage Categories.
Click Add, enter a name and save it.
Click the pencil icon to rename a category, or drag the handle on the left to change the order. The new order saves right away.
Click the trash icon to delete a category.
You can only delete a category that has no products. Move its products to another category first. A new school starts with no categories, so create one when you add your first product.
Step 11: See Your Profit
Once a product has a cost, you can see your profit in two places:
On eStore → Products, the Profit column shows the total from paid orders placed after you entered the cost.
When you add or edit a product, Profit per item under Cost shows the profit on one item and its percentage of the price.
Profit is based on the list price, excluding tax. Coupons, credits and fees aren't included.
To see the profit on a single order, see How to Manage eStore Orders.
