How to See Upcoming Autopay Charges for All Students

Use Payments → Memberships to see every student's amount, payment method and next charge date, check full payments, and export the list to Excel.

Written by Ben Ryoo

The Memberships page in the Payments menu shows the payment side of every student's membership in one list: how much each student pays, how they pay, and when the next charge is due. This guide shows how to read the page, filter it, and export it to Excel.

Before you start

Step 1: Open the Memberships page

  1. In the left sidebar, click Payments → Memberships.

  2. The Autopay tab opens first. It lists memberships with recurring payments.

Step 2: Check this month's totals

The four cards at the top sum up this month's autopay charges. Each card shows the amount and how many autopays it includes.

Card

What it shows

Total This Month

All autopay charges due this month.

Processed This Month

Charges that have already run this month.

Upcoming This Month

Charges still to come this month.

Expiring This Month

Autopays whose last payment is this month.

Step 3: Read the list

The list is sorted by Next Charge, soonest first. Click a column name with an arrow to change the order.

Column

Name

The student. Click the name to open their profile.

Membership

The membership plan. No Expiry means the membership has no end date.

Amount

The amount of each charge.

Payment Method

The card or bank account (shown with its last digits), Auto-Invoice, Cash/Check or In-House Credit Card.

Next Charge

The date of the next autopay charge.

Installment

Installments billed (charged or invoiced) out of the total, for example 3 / 12. Unlimited means there is no set number of payments.

Status

Active, Paused, Ready or Inactive. Ready means the membership starts on a future date.

To change a student's amount, date or number of payments, click the pencil icon at the end of the row. This opens Edit billing schedule. See Edit a Membership's Autopay Billing Schedule.

Step 4: Filter the list

Filter

Choose Yes to see only Auto Invoice memberships, or No to hide them. See What Is Auto Invoice? How It Differs from Autopay.

Search member

Find one student.

Tip: To see who will be charged this week, set Next Charge to This Week and Status to Active.

Step 5: Export the list to Excel

  1. Set the filters you want.

  2. Click Export at the top right.

  3. Confirm the export.

NextKick downloads an Excel file with the same columns as the list. It includes every page of results, using the filters you set.

Step 6: Check memberships paid in full

Click the Full Payment tab to see memberships that are paid in one payment.

  • The cards show the Total, Paid and Unpaid amounts.

  • The Unpaid column shows what each student still owes, in red.

  • Payment Status shows Paid or Pending.

  • Filter by Membership or Status, or search for a student. Export works on this tab too.

FAQ

How do I get a list of every student's next autopay date?

Go to Payments → Memberships, stay on the Autopay tab, and click Export. The Excel file lists each student's amount, payment method, next charge date and installments.

How is this different from Revenue Projection?

Reports → Revenue Projection shows expected membership income as monthly totals. The Memberships page lists each student's next charge one by one. See How to Use Reports in NextKick.

Why isn't a student on the Autopay tab?

If their membership is paid in one payment, it's on the Full Payment tab. If it's not on either tab, the membership may not have been added yet.
