How to Set Up Your Website AI Chatbot

Turn on the AI chatbot on your NextKick website and fill in the hours, programs, trial classes and offers it shares with visitors.

Written by Ben Ryoo

The Website AI Chatbot answers visitors' questions on your NextKick website, day and night. It answers from the information you enter in NextKick, so the more you fill in, the better it answers. This guide shows how to turn it on and what to fill in.

Before you start

Step 1: Open the chatbot settings

  1. Go to Settings → Communication.

  2. Click the Website AI Chatbot Settings tab.

The menu on the left jumps to each section: Website Chatbot, General Information, Operating Hours, About School, Instructor Information, Program Information, Trial Class Information and Special Offers.

Step 2: Turn on the chatbot

  1. Turn on Enable Website AI Chatbot.

  2. Click Save at the top of the page.

To hide the chatbot from your website, turn the switch off and click Save.

Step 3: Fill in what the chatbot can share

Section

What to enter

General Information

School logo, name, email, phone number, address, and links to your Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok or other social pages

Operating Hours

Your opening and closing time for each day of the week. Turn a day's switch off if you're closed that day.

About School

A description of your school and of your facility

Instructor Information

Each instructor's name and bio. Click + Add instructor for more.

Program Information

Each program's name and description. Click + Add class for more.

Trial Class Information

Your trial classes and what they include. Click + Add trial for more.

Special Offers

Current promotions, such as a first-month discount. Click + Add offer for more.

When you're done, click Save. The chatbot uses your changes right away.

Tip: Write descriptions the way you'd answer a parent on the phone: ages, class times, what to wear, and what the first class is like. Remove offers when they end so the chatbot doesn't keep sharing them.

Step 4: Make sure visitors can reach you

When the chatbot can't answer a question, it gives the visitor your school's contact details so they can reach you directly. Check that the email, phone number and address in General Information are correct.

Chatbot conversations aren't emailed to your school and don't appear on the Leads page.
